Overview
Planning has always been thought of as one of the key aspects of project management or even management in general. We have all heard the quote from Benjamin Franklin: “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” ? and most of us believe it. In fact, 65% of practitioners believe the planning phase to be the most critical to project success yet it is woefully understudied. New research from more than 1,300 global projects will be discussed, the implications, and how this information can help project managers manage better projects.
