Overview

The collective disruption model brings together the best of corporate and entrepreneurial approaches for transformative growth. You’ll learn about successfully applying entrepreneurial methods within large organizations and how to partner in new ways with startups to co-create breakthrough new products, services and businesses. Case studies will be included from companies that are leading the way in this movement, including Johnson & Johnson, Cisco, Jarden and others.

Too often, disruption is a bad word— something you don’t see coming. It doesn’t have to be that way. Collective disruption is about changing that paradigm and learning to embrace disruption through collaboration. In this interactive webinar, innovation expert and author Michael Docherty provides a roadmap and framework for breakthrough innovation. You will learn how to:

  • Build and leverage an innovation network as a pipeline for new sources of growth
  • Bring entrepreneurial and lean methods into the corporate context with a balanced approach that works
  • Discover, define, incubate, and integrate new sources of growth with a new mindset of co-creation

Apply new incubation models that others are using successfully, including leveraging accelerators and ‘on-demand’ entrepreneurs

Learning Objectives

Mature companies that are searching for new sources of growth must learn how to pursue higher risk, transformative innovation outside of their core business. And they need to do this within organizations that are optimized for a focus on sustaining today’s business. The same startups and entrepreneurs that have been disrupting large companies are increasingly being viewed as a pipeline for transformative new business creation. Leading companies are experimenting with new ways to engage earlier and more deeply with the startup ecosystem.
