The Business Analysis Ecosystem

Even if there are certain activities that might not fall within your remit as a Business Analysis, it is important to ensure that all points be covered in a thorough manner. This webinar covers the points that are required PRIOR to a project charter being issued, and the tasks therein can and should fall within the duties of a BA.

We start by looking at thoroughly investigating the original problem or opportunity. Once having a better understanding of that future state, one needs to make a preliminary investigation of the efforts needed to close the gap. This is where our initial solution scope is formulated. Based on the initial scope per se, the Business Analyst is required to cope up with a thorough stakeholder list in order to perform elicitation. Once the needs are understood, only then can the best solutions be conceived. Lastly, the information required to make a proper decision need to be presented.
