Overview
Roger Duke, past president of the Augusta-Aiken PMI Chapter (AA-PMI), in Augusta Georgia, will share his secrets on how a chapter can make a difference in the community. After serving in the nonprofit community of many years, Roger is convinced that project managers and project management practices can play a significant role meeting community needs. All nonprofit organizations have visions, but their visions without plans are just dreams. Chapters and project managers have the talents to make these dreams come true.
Roger will describe the processes and tools used by the AA-PMI chapter to plan and execute successful projects and the differences these projects have made the community, the chapter and its members. He will validate his secrets by presenting a case study of a project recently recognized by the PMI Education Foundation, which can easily be implemented by any chapter.
This webinar is part of ProjectManagement.com’s upcoming open house, “Project Managers Giving Back,” held in conjunction with the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF). Join us on 29 November to celebrate giving back through project management and learn how you can make a difference in your community!
