Overview
"BIM & Agile: Towards The Change" is a presentation that drafts the similarities between BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AGILE management in terms of values, processes and workflows. It concludes with thoughts on the Change Management needed in order to implement them in organizations.
The objective is to expose why and how BIM is becoming essential as a process, not only for modeling, but also for management once a facility is handed-over to its operator(s). When compared to Agile, BIM incorporates many - if not all - of its values.
As a matter of fact, BIM and Agile are transforming the future of the architecture, engineering and construction industries (AEC), questioning their survival sometimes. In order to successfully accomplish the shift from any conventional process, Change must be addressed and managed in first place to influence both organizational culture and mindset.
