Agile has become the norm in project management. All PPM frameworks will have a degree of Agility, from tolerating it for the software development teams to widely adopting Agile practices at the project and sometimes at the enterprise level.
However, the transition to Agile takes time and it is a significant cultural change. Skeptics needs to be convinced that Agile will deliver the benefits. Theory and practice shows that not all projects will benefit from an Agile approach. Measuring and benchmarking the impact of Agile on project delivery will support the "inspect and adapt" concepts embraced by Agile teams. Apart from being a justification for Agile transition it is also a good way to identify what works and what doesn't fullfilling the Agile Manifesto goal of "uncovering better ways of developing products by doing it and helping others do it".
This presentation proposes a new way of using the "traditional" project benchmarking approach adapting it to the specifics of an Agile project team.
