They Is We; Them Is us: Life Lessons from a Career in Project Management - RESCHEDULED
October 11, 2018 11:00 AM EDT (UTC-4)
Platform: WebEx
Capacity:
Duration: 60 min
Support: Earning PDUs | Tips For Attendees
Overview
Inevitably, project managers will find themselves in situations that challenge their accumulated knowledge in the field. Maybe your key resources are reassigned to another project, or your budget pared due to enterprise financial stress, or perhaps you are told to stop complaining and just include that additional scope in your workplan with no additional time or resources with which to do so. If you ever find yourself faced with such situations that leave you talking to yourself, muttering statements like “They would never let me do what I learned at this place”, or “I’ll never be able convince them that what they have asked me to do is wrong”, then this webinar is for you.
Real examples are shared that show how to constructively deal with such real-life situations, built on the precept that we need to accept as project managers that we are part of any problem that precludes our projects from reaching successful completion.
