Overview

Please note this webinar is non-PDU bearing!

In this installment of the Discover PMI – Ask Us Anything Series, we will provide an overview of A World of Volunteer Opportunities with PMI! Volunteering is at the heart of the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI was founded by volunteers in 1969 and individuals have come together ever since to donate their time and talents to the profession. Volunteerism is so important that Volunteer Service Excellence is one of six core values guiding the Institute and states that “volunteers and effective partnerships with staff are the best way to accomplish the Institute’s goals and objectives”. In this session, Jamie Gray and Maria Hazell, Volunteer Engagement Specialists at PMI, will talk about the fulfilling and impactful volunteer opportunities with PMI. From serving on the PMI Board of Directors to writing certification exam items, running a local PMI chapter to creating and reviewing content like the PMBOK Guide, PMI volunteers are the backbone of the Institute around the globe. If you are interested in learning how you can get involved, this webinar will be a must-attend event for you.
