Women bring diverse perspectives and problem-solving approaches to every project they are a part of. In PMI’s Women in Project Management 2023 report, research found that 88% of project professionals say having diverse project teams increases value—and may also hold the key to solving an ongoing crisis for organizations.

Despite these benefits, women are still underrepresented in senior roles. In order to accelerate action and support global project success, companies must take steps to create equitable workplaces, such as implementing mentorship programs, leadership training, and supportive policies.
