Organizations are increasingly experiencing problems associated with current training models and techniques, but what happens next is not so clear. You as a project manager may find yourself caught in the middle not knowing how to ensure your workforce is ready to meet project objectives. A basic understanding of what works and what doesn’t will allow you to make smart decisions for your situation.

How Current Training Strategies Are Becoming Obsolete
Even though it is predominant now, current training strategies are fast becoming obsolete. Even the blended training incorporating online with some instructor-led courses cannot last as a primary solution. It’s not that we don’t need the training, we do (gantthead contributor Mike Donoghue has written about this recently). We need more training, faster…and we need learning to occur more effectively in a shorter amount of time. What do you as a project manager need to know about making this happen in your project?
