Three Career Opportunities Created By Outsourcing
Outsourcing is a scar word. It conjures images of people losing their jobs. Others see it as a just one more signal that the middle class, long in decline, will never recover. That’s the conventional wisdom that you can read in any major media outlet. What if there is a different way to look at the outsourcing trend? - The first outsourcing opportunity for project managers lies in joining specialized consulting firms including systems integrations.
- Second, government procurement activities represent a major opportunity for construction, technology and other sectors.
- Third, project managers have a tremendous opportunity to work in project management software organizations.
