The question I received was: "How do you prefer collaborating with team members (virtually, in person, via email only, phone, etc.)?
I don't have any experience that would allow me to answer that question, in terms of choosing one. I find that collaboration requires flexibility. I need to be willing to email people, who work best with email, have in person meetings with folks, who need face to face time, and phone calls for those who work best via phone interaction. I suppose that as a PM, when I create a communication plan, I see it as my job to figure out how best to communicate with team members so that they can focus on completing their tasks in the project.

In person is always best but not always possible. Next in line is phone/video conference in order to get to know the individual. Once connection is established, email is fine.
In person is my first choice. However in my work teams are generally located across multiple locations so I am very comfortable and have a liking for phone/video conference. Depending on formal status and connection email and communicator messages are effective and faster too.

It is alway better to have face to face but it depends upon type of communication. I mean, formal communcation is better to have through formal letter and follow up face to face discussion will be best way. on other side, informal communcation can be made in whichever way and it depends upon location of two person, urgency of matters etc.
Face to Face - Email - Virtual - Phone...that would be my preference!

Question I received was "What has been the pain full points while working as a project manager"?
Well, In some of my projects, I had hard time securing the funding for setting up the recognition and rewards system due to multi layers reporting structure of the team members.
