The most gruelling part of the PMP exam was sitting at one place for 4 hours. Rest things were as per plan and they came out well :-).

All forms have their pros. Where as face to face or video chat is best to establish a connection, make introductions, and strategize as a group, email is much less formal so takes less time. For general communication, I prefer email because it is less intrusive (so if I am in the middle of something I am not interrupted for something that can wait 10 mins) and I can have paper trails if I need to refer back to information or repeat information again. In my role many people need to be aware of certain information so calling each person or conference calling is not as efficient as emailing everyone in the group. So again, with the exception to making initial introductions and connections and also collaborating ideas as a team, generally I prefer email.

I preferred fact-to-face communication however I work with geographically dispersed team and use different communication methods based on the situation, urgency, local time including face-to-face, telephone, chat, e-mail etc.

I prefer to collaborate face to face, since I can see facial expressions, which are an important part of communication.

Nice site. Looking forward to further exploring it! As far as how I prefer collaborating with team members (virtually, in person, via email only, phone, etc.)? In person always seems to work the best, however, once established I like using email so as not to fill up everyone's time with even more meetings. Some things shouldn't need a meeting and I like email to have a "trail" of final outcomes or decisions as well. Always seems I need to refresh someone's memory!

Depends on the project and issue at hand - usually face to face or video conference
