I prefer a mix of email, phone, face to face, and virtual communication that leads to an effective way of communicating in a cost effective manner.
CONGRATS!!! on the new website. This is an exciting day!

The question I received was: "How do you prefer collaborating with team members (virtually, in person, via email only, phone, etc.)?"
My answer is that I tailor it as appropriate for the situation or the task we are trying to accomplish. Usually though, it means for me virtually in a teleconference call, because I work with a virtual team flung across the globe. I've been fortunate to work with a great group of people and have found that we can focus and accomplish a great deal using this method.

Q - How do you prefer collaborating with team members (virtually, in person, via email only, phone, etc.)?
It depends on the location of the team member, their prefered method of receiving information and the Communications Management Plan.for that Project.

Congrats on the new website... looking forward to more to come from this community!
Face-to-face has always been the preferred communication method for me, followed by video conferencing right after (especially when dealing with global teams).

It's a GREAT day to be a Project Manager!!!

In person, especially for challenging or difficuly conversations. Being able to see body language is key.
The question I received was: "How do you prefer collaborating with team members (virtually, in person, via email only, phone, etc.)?
I work with global teams which limits us to virtual, email and phone collaboration which can be effective. I do prefer to work in person early in an engagement as we build relationships.
Love the new website. Thanks for all you do.

I prefer to work in person to truly understand the important communication being provided. It also helps to build the critical relationships for future challenging conversations.
How do I prefer to communicate?
In person followed by email (for the record)
Happy Moving! Look forward to new site and T-shirt (let me win)
Since my teams are in different locations, virtual conferencing is most effective time- and cost-wise.

Collaboration can be accomplished through many media. I prefer face-to-face but in our increasingly digital age, I've been finding myself collaborating on Project Management.com as well as other "business oriented" social sites.
