Week 18 - One Step Closer
From the Taking the Plunge Blog
by Aaron Porter
In case you actually read this description, the beginning of the blog is about preparing for the PMP exam. It then evolved into maintaining my credential. While maintaining relevant credentials is important, it doesn't make a good long-term topic. Watch for experiments, some serious topics as I try out new things and "take the plunge", and maybe a little bit of fun.

Date
Just a quick note - I received notification last week that my application was accepted. My exam date is scheduled for December.
I stressed, a little, for a couple of days, because I thought I was going to receive an email letting me know whether or not my application was approved or I was going to be audited, but there was no e-mail. The notification, it turns out, was posted as a PDF in the application area on the PMI website.
I also fixed some minor defects in my tracking database. I am still considering developing an enhanced version AFTER I pass the exam.
Time to put my nose to the grindstone. My next post will be at the beginning of December, unless something noteworthy occurs between now and then. Until then, happy studying!
