A World Without Borders.

Assalamualaikum & Hi All,

    My biggest challenge in taking the PMP credential finally worth it, the best part I passed the PMP exam a few days after entering year of 2016. It was my second attempt to seat for the exam after I failed in the first exam but it was not putting me to easily give up.

    From the failure I have put my strength to move forward and start to planning for next attempt, and I start to apply the knowledge that I have learnt in PMBOK to planning on my PMP study until the exam day.

    I check back what the mistake that I have done in the past and make sure the same mistake will not happen. Thus I start to planning, to strategy, and learnt from others that already passed the PMP exam. I'm also set the benchmark of mark that I need to achieve and my studying methodology also have changed in different way.

What tips in studying PMBOK for PMP exam ?

1. It is not typical study during university or secondary school, you tend to remember everything instead of digest what its meant. The uniqueness of PMP exam, it is not about question of remembering but how you implement the theory on your daily works.
2. Practices will make you better, from studying the knowledge areas in the book may not actually train your brain to think out of the book. Thus, it is essential for your to test yourself with a lot of sample of exam questions. From there you can train your brain to think out of the box.
3. Learnt from others, don't take this for granted and you can learn a lot from others especially for those who already passed for their exam. You can ask for their tips and recommendation, what the additional books that they referred during study for the exam. Any do and don't tips for you!

The determination is up to you to success in the PMP exam. Don't let yourself easily give up and buckle up for maximum preparation.
