Risk Analysis/Resolution Matrix

The Risk Analysis/Resolution Matrix lists over 30 common project risk and impact items that you are apt to encounter. You'll tailor the matrix to address the specific risks you currently face. Then rate each risk factor according to probability, importance and severity. For each risk you will record your planned countermeasures and contingent actions, identify the person or team responsible for mitigating the risk, specify the level of resolution, and track the status.

As part of your overall risk management approach, you will periodically review and revise this matrix - giving you a real understanding of the risks you face and where you need to focus your efforts.
