The following are some hints and tips to consider when using this template:

Who will see these minutes? Make sure meeting attendees understand who will see the minutes when they are sent out. Some meetings are of a sensitive nature and require discretion. Don’t blind-side attendees by distributing those minutes to the entire world.

Use Point Form. Most meetings do not require you to offer a second by second account of what transpired. With the information overload everywhere in today’s world, consider using point form where appropriate.

Use a Heading. Use a bold heading to indicate the topic of discussion. This makes it easier to review the notes and find the specific information you were looking for.
