Format: Log

Projects undergo changes due to various reasons at different stages and timelines. The change order log helps to record things in a simplified manner, giving brief details of the changes the project has undergone. The change order log can be used either for a project or for a portfolio. This one-shot template will record the event date with the impact on project schedule and cost.

Instructions to use the Change Order Log

  • Once the change order report is completed, the log is filled up with the provided details.
  • The change order log could be maintained according to the project manager, say for each subcontractor or for a single project comprising several sub-contracts.
  • The same could be used for portfolio management as well. For that, the last “Total row” has to be removed.
