This Excel tool was developed to assist project managers in preparing simple project/program S-curves by entering a small amount of data and presenting it in a professional report for project participants.

The required data to enter:

• Activity ID & Name
• Activity Start and Duration (Calendar days)
• Activity Cost

The tool will then use Excel equations to calculate activity finish date, draw a bar chart of activities, distribute cost uniformly over durations and use generated cost data to present a project cost chart.

The output:

• Bar chart of activities using the entered Start Date and calculated Finish Date
• Project Monthly Cost Chart and Project S-curve

Data is customizable and can be easily adjusted to account for various project needs. Minimum data entry is required, and cost loading is distributed daily, giving a smooth and accurate cost curve. The program is ready for reporting and printing on A4 size paper.
