The success of a project hinges directly on the successful execution of a detailed and pro-active training plan. Far too often, the training plan is allocated a few generic paragraphs within the overall project plan, when it should be deemed a "project within a project." A template detailing the common activities and associated tasks is necessary in order to forecast the effort, resources and desired outcomes of a project's training plan. Use this template as a checklist/log to identify, track and execute the relevant training activities for your project. The training sub-project should be managed by a learning project manager and activities completed by professional instructional designer(s).
