Types of Projects and its fields

Hello Experts,

I am trying to gather a list of possible project types for example;

Information Technology
Construction
Aviation
Manufacturing
Mining
Healthcare ---Thanks to Rami
Education --Thanks to Rami

Am I missing something? would love to have you'all input on this list. Thanks!

That is an incredibly long list. You could literally start with the job categories list on sites like Monster.com and trim out a couple.

Indeed it seems to be a long list, but i am trying to be detailed but not too detailed but will take into consideration your advice! Have a wonderful weekend

Such a taxonomy would mirror all known industries and sub-domains within those.

I can speak for healthcare - setting up a healthcare facility, setting up an immunization drive, learning in the nursing world as a project, and definitely, patient care as a project (see my white paper in the knowledge shelf that is heavily referenced and is available at https://www.projectmanagement.com/articles...t-Perspective).

I can speak for healthcare - setting up a healthcare facility, setting up an immunization drive, learning in the nursing world as a project, and definitely, patient care as a project (see my white paper in the knowledge shelf that is heavily referenced and is available at https://www.projectmanagement.com/articles...t-Perspective).

Well, we need to coordinate certain status tasks with certain types of projects hence the need of the list. :)

I would consider « services », and sub « change management » is a frequent type of project regardless of industries
