Schedule Performance Indicator (SPI) measurement in Smartsheet
I recently joined an organization that uses Smartsheet as their PM software. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how to utilize Smartsheet to measure the SPI of a project. I am used to the functionality already being built into the MS Project software.

Hi John. Consider reviewing a few YouTube tutorials on Smartsheet. While there may not be a tutorial specifically on measuring SPI, there might be foundational content that will give you a general overview or plug an idea on how to go about measuring SPI within Smartsheet. Best of luck!
Hi John,

there are a lot of videos available online to understand Earned value measurement and management which covers Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), Actual Cost (AC), Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)

The above concept/formulas have been used in MS project software and it calculates the values when you feed required inputs values, hope this will help. Best Regards
