@Rami,
After reading PMI REP docs, I disagree that "PDU’s and Hours will still be accepted after July 2020 from non-authorized training providers". Where does it say so?
Andrew
Please refer to my very first comment above where I mentioned that John Char (REP Program Developer) mentioned this on one of the threads on LinkedIn, specifically Oliver Lehmann's post.
I didn't see it mentioned in the manual either but that's what PMI themselves are saying, not me.

Correct - this is specifically mentioned in the FAQ for the new ATP. Contact hours and PDUs can be provided by non-ATP companies but PMI reserves the right to audit or challenge those which they won't do for hours earned from ATP-provided courses.
I found these changes by PMI arrogant and self-serving. Of course, prices will increase. For an organization that is supposed to be leading in project management practices and not-for-profit, they are again, not practicing what is preached and not interested in listening to their stakeholders. These changes will eliminate the smaller providers and cater to large corporations. Of course, as someone previously said, smaller providers will still be around and won't care about the ATP and will be able to offer courses even more competitively than in the past as they will not be paying the fees.

I would expect that a number of providers will take a wait and see approach with the new program. John Char and others at PMI claim that participation in the ATP will provide "preferential" marketing and treatment which should translate to higher revenues so it will be interesting to see whether or not that does happen.
Based on the sample screenshots provided by PMI for their prep course content, I'm concerned that it is not going to be at the same level of quality as the well established resources developed by long standing providers such as Velociteach.

The new ATP program is just in my opinion
A-T -ra- P
Nothing good will come of it. Mark my words.
I will NOT be supporting it or joining it. PMI has departed from what it was once known for.
I would have reported such behavior TO the PMI of 2005.
I am very unimpressed but this poor leadership is NOT the PMI! WE ARE THE PMI....not these wanna be leaders only taking a walk and thinking about profits instead of US the community.

PMI is becoming a competition themselves by coming into the online market. They are doing the same mistake which Microsoft did after the Bill Gates by entering in the mobile market. and Calling many Freelancers as Fraudulent they will see the importance of this will start going down. They have not only increased the prices but made it difficult to provide a unique experience. With everything the same as course and slides, this will become challenging.
Freelancers make 60-80% of the market, if they moved away, some other Certification will take over. Its word of mouth, and if they stop it then we have a real challenge in hand.
I am working with 3 of the companies in my city and I am still waiting to hear anything from them. I wouldn't be happy to be on the payroll of One. Saving Changes...

People!! Let’s face it! In an effort to improve prep courses, PMI has put into place an ATP program with costs that will exclude 1/2 to 2/3’s of the current REP group. I have found two groups that are trying to develop a response:
1. Dan Celebucki has organized the “Unofficial Group of Former REP’s” on LinkedIn as a forum for brainstorming
2. Tony Johnson has put together the Project Management Training Alliance (pmtraining.org) with a focus on maintaining quality. (Also on LinkedIn contact Tony Johnson directly)
Contact them and let's figure out what we can do continue serving our customers. Saving Changes...
