I do not know. Great decision. It was waste. Lot of people posting just questions without sence or comments like "thanks" only to increment it. Lot of people publish in linkeding "most influencer" with that number. Know we will know if projectmanagement.com has value or not.

Sergio, I really appreciate that you were the first one to comment I agree that few were putting questions without any sense like you said just to keep the numbers up and that what was part of calculations
Now that we are all free from that

If anything, saying "Thanks" or "I agree" should add to the other person's influence, not your own.

yes, I know it. That´s my point. It seems to me what that people was searching for is to increment the influence number. Of course, it is my perception only and I could be wrong. But I saw the same person writting the same answer (Thanks, for example) in multipe blogs or any type of publication on the same date.
There was a fairly robust discussion about this when Laura originally announced its impending removal a couple of months back and again when she reminded everyone just before it was removed.
There was support for keeping it and eliminating it. Rami even set up a "memorial" page for it which had a screenshot of the top ten influencers :-)
A few weeks after it was dropped (end of March?), the dust has settled and life goes on...

Yes Kiron I really missed a lot I wasn't aware of that discussion see this is one of the thing i thought it should be implemented to avoid repetitive when someone write a question key words should be triggered and bring up previous discussion this way we can avoid putting same topic
And like you said it has promoter but I think the relief we've got is better
May be we can have more measurement to recognize our seniors SME

Riyadh! Welcome back! Yes, there have been some changes :)
The Influence score was retired at the end of March. Noted there are better ways to recognize the leaders in this community. We can all agree the algorithm behind the score needed some tuning. My understanding is that at some point in the future, there will be some type of 'replacement'. No inside information, just an assumption on my part.
Hi Andrew thank you, the idea behind wasn't that bad but the way to measure it was controversy so I guess we are all free now not to worry about paying attendance and as many of us people were just to write any thing to maintain participation.
I know I was little away so I missed a lot of changes but I am glad to see all our group, old friend, Gurus, Leaders are still here

Maybe they are virtual leaders :) or virtually nonexistent. Just joke with words.
