Hi, I am Momin Khan from India, i recently cleared my PMP certification I have 10 years of experience in the service and consulting industry. Unfortunately, I l work in a small company where we do not have any set processes for project management. and I am struggling to execute the projects effectively and efficiently. I am desperate for a mentor who can guide me on the implementation of PM principles for project execution.

Any help is welcome.

Momin -

While there are many seasoned practitioners in this community who'd be able to help you, you might want to start networking within the PMI Pune-Deccan chapter as you'd benefit from folks who are in your time zone and might be more familiar with the specific regional challenges which you might be facing on your projects.

Many chapters do have a formal mentoring program in place so you may wish to contact one of the board members (the website is http://www.pmipunechapter.org/) to see if they have something similar...

You better contact your local chapter.

Momin,

agree that your request deems appropriate to any experienced project manager, so for keeping the culture gaps small, I also think a local mentor would be best. Even if the mentoring itself is done online.

If you do not find someone with the Pune Chapter, you might try out other Indian Chapters, some of which are very mature.

Let me know if you need a referral.
