Best project management software/apps?

I am looking for a system that combines the scheduling complexity and user friendliness of MS Project with the dashboard and reporting capabilities of SmartSheet, all in one best software (or app) suite. We are running a head to head comparison, already including Project & SmartSheet, are looking for high quality alternatives.

Planview is a good option to manage hybrid projects. It allows the creation of Gantt diagrams and also agile dashboards.
A set of reports, work management, and resource management is available.
It's an easy-to-use tool.

Complexity was probably the wrong word to use, I mean the ability to tie together the entire schedule using predecessors and successors so that the schedule has dynamic movement and the ability to show critical path and immediate results of a date change.

I think you should try Plainview Adaptive. It used to be called Clarizen. Using a template with your workflow automatically imports the predecessors and successors columns.

I believe Microsoft’s Project for The Web (P4W) is moving in that direction. While scheduling currently offers GANT and critical path, it currently only offers finish to start dependencies. But it is evolving
and MS continues to add features. If you are MS shop, it integrates with O365 and TEAMS and is based on MS Power platform. We are currently evaluating it to see if we should switch from MS Project Online to P4W.
