I am looking for a system that combines the scheduling complexity and user friendliness of MS Project with the dashboard and reporting capabilities of SmartSheet, all in one best software (or app) suite. We are running a head to head comparison, already including Project & SmartSheet, are looking for high quality alternatives.

Celoxis is worth considering if you manage multiple or complex projects.
It brings together planning, resources, budgets, risks, workflows and reporting. It’s especially helpful when you want to check the progress of projects, workload of teams, costs, and the status of portfolios without going to different spreadsheets.
For very simple task tracking, it may be more than you need, but for project and portfolio management, it’s a strong option.
