I am starting a project soon, and I would like to use Agile Planning Poker in order to estimate story points for the project. However, most of my team members are located outside of the office that I work in. As a result, all of my meetings are hosted over teams and I am unable to conduct planning poker as I would in an office.
I'm curious as to if anyone out there has found a way to use agile planning poker over Microsoft Teams? I know that there are also a handful of apps available on teams, but is there an app that is better than the rest?
Thank you and I look forward to your insight! Saving Changes...
You can use the chat capability in all collaboration tools for this purpose (i.e. team members simultaneously enter their item sizes when the facilitator says "go") but other options are:
1. If you use Miro for collaboration, there are two estimating poker options within it
2. Planningpoker.com is free for up to five folks in a team and has paid subscriptions with higher capabilities

Thank you Kiron! I will be sure to try both options!

Another option, using the tool you are already in - Teams, is to give people time to think of their point estimate and then, tell them to post their estimate on the count of 3. I've done this many times and as long as everyone submits their estimate at the same time with little delay, it works well. You can just use Chat in Teams, or any other video tool and it works just fine. Saving Changes...
