I worked for a large Canadian organization which implemented the Delivery component (Disciplined Agile Delivery) of DA a few years prior to PMI's acquisition in 2019. We made the toolkit the basis of the agile framework we rolled out at that time.
Key strategies we supported were a couple of the life cycles, the key roles (e.g. Architecture Owner), and key milestones (e.g. Proven Architecture).
While there were some initial successes at the team level, leadership's inability to resolve critical organizational blockers prevented achieving the full goals of introducing it.
