Choosing a ERP for a Organization is need a Strategy planning with long term goal approach .
organization need to identify there need of ERP based on the both stort term and long term goal .
many organization need to do a proper study  and comparison of there current business and do a comparative study on the industry also.

Why industry need a ERP  
Industry Need ERP for Managing day to day business transaction  like procurement , sales , Financial transaction , Taxes , Fixed cost like salary etc
in order to manage the accounts properly it is very much needed to have a well integrated ERP . certain ERP not only supports on the financial part it is also need to take care of the Material accounting .

How to Narrow down the ERP finalization 

the proper way of ERP finalization is based on the following factor.
   - Ready to use with Less Modification to adopt 
   - Less maintenance cost and availability of resource 
   - Less Training time and easy to understand .
   - Easy to use and  flexible to adopt 
   - Should have Seamlessly integrated capability .

Running cost 

An ERP adopted by an organization should help in recording the revenue of the Organization it should not be big cost to the company .
While choosing the ERP we need to have the clear plan on the ROI ( return of Investment )

Preparation Phase 
organization should simplify there process and also should have the Governance in place. 
all the process are should be documented and clearly standardized so that complex logic can be removed .

While choosing the ERP  we always need to have clear view on the Cost , Strategy   , Integration , Advance option .
