Dear PMI Community,

I am trying to connect with other PMPs in the Education Field, specifically those who are working in the K-12 segment and secondarily, those who are working in the K-12 education technology field.  Any advice on finding and connecting with these types of specific members?

Sincerely,
Vincent

Hello Vicent, and welcome to the PMI Online Community! One the best ways to engage with fellow colleagues within the Education field is through your local San Diego chapter. You can also use the “People Search” function by clicking the magnifying glass. Here you can filter by industry, which education is included. I also found a past thread that may be helpful -https://www.projectmanagement.com/discussion-topic/175495/hello-k-12-public-school-district-colleagues-

I hope this helps, and if you haven't already done so, please take a moment to introduce yourself to PMI’s Online Community at https://www.projectmanagement.com/discussion-topic/193917/welcome--introduce-yourself-to-pmi-s-online-community.

Best of luck!

Hello Vincent, and welcome to the PMI Online Community! 😊
I am totally agree with , Kimberly Whitby

One of the best ways to engage with fellow colleagues in the education field is through your local chapter.

They often have events and networking opportunities tailored to specific industries. You can also use the “People Search” function by clicking the magnifying glass icon.

This allows you to filter by industry, including education, to find and connect with other PMPs in the K-12 segment. Good luck,

I hope you make some great connections! 🌟
