Mobility/Physical disability often needs special adaptations to guarantee the accessibility and comfort of the person, ensuring that, even having a physical impairment, barriers aren't present, and all the needed activities can be executed by the person.
What are the best practices for mobility accessibility you have observed in your enterprise?

Great question, Verónica, accessibility is something that should go beyond compliance and truly be part of organizational culture.
In our enterprise, we’ve implemented several best practices that made a real difference:
Accessible office design: ramps, wide doors, and adjustable desks to ensure everyone can move and work comfortably.
Inclusive digital tools: screen-reader–friendly applications and alt text for all internal communications and dashboards.
Emergency accessibility: clear evacuation routes and visual/audio alarms adapted for all needs.
Awareness programs: periodic training sessions to build empathy and normalize accessibility as part of everyday leadership.

In many workplaces I’ve seen a clear shift toward better mobility accessibility. Practical things like wider walkways, step-free access, adjustable desks, and clear signage make a huge difference. Training frontline staff to support colleagues with mobility needs also helps create a more inclusive environment.
