I managed projects that required close coordination between construction teams, vendors, and IT network specialists. One of my biggest challenges was balancing fast-paced construction timelines with the precision, testing, and security requirements of IT infrastructure upgrades. I’d love to hear what scheduling, communication, or risk-management strategies have worked best for you in similar environments. Thank you.

In environments where construction and IT have to move in lockstep, what has helped me most is locking in integration milestones early and treating them as non-negotiable. That forces clarity on dependencies and prevents last-minute surprises.
I’ve also leaned heavily on daily micro-syncs between construction leads and IT specialists. Even 10 minutes keeps alignment tight and surfaces conflicts before they hit the schedule.
And for risk management, I use a simple rule: if a task affects safety, security, or cutover stability, it gets escalated immediately.
