How do project managers separate valuable feedback from noise?

As project managers, we often receive feedback, concerns and opinions from multiple stakeholders and senior leaders. While this input can be valuable, not every concern necessarily requires a change to the project plan or priorities. Sometimes feedback may be driven by uncertainty, assumptions or fear rather than actual project risks.

How do you determine which feedback is relevant and actionable versus what can simply be acknowledged and monitored? Are there any frameworks, questions or criteria you use to prioritize stakeholder feedback while keeping the project aligned with its objectives, scope, risks and priorities?

I am interested to hear how other project managers handle this, especially when senior stakeholders have strong opinions that may not align with the project data or agreed objectives.
