Yes of course! our policy is to reward as many as we can. Only those who underperform are not rewarded, and that their punishment is not to be recognised. This motivates them further to work harder to come in the safe zone by acquiring any one of the rewards. We reward on a number of areas, though we have an overall award for "Best Performer", but we also have awards for "Most Punctual", "Most Efficient", "Most Well-Dressed", "Most Creative" and so on. In addition to the certificate awarded we give an option to all awardees to select a cash reward, a credit award to be counted towards promotion) or pick a perk.

This is Great, it surely motivates your team and keep them happy. We used to do something similar on our projects as well. We had something called "On the Spot Price". When we go to site to do walk throughs, if someone is doing some good action, we reward him or her on the spot with a pre-paid telephone card.
