What's the best or couple of best Project Management Literature you've used to prepare?

Please answer not in theory but by own vivid experience.

I used Rita's book and a PMBOK as it is widely recommended. Can't say that Rita's is the best as I hadn't have a look at other books. Also, I used PM PrepCast and read through some blogs.

Hi George, I assume you referred to achieving PMP certification. I've used to following:-
* Rita Mulcahy's - PMP Exam Perp
* Andy Cowe's - PMP Exam , How to pass on the first try
* Latest PMBOK version

I also attended a PMP prep training session with a group of students at Classic Seminars. This assisted me a lot, seeing that we had a lot of group sessions^& discussions.

Books on Risk and Lean strategies. There are many of them. Yes Basic is Rita's and the PMBOK, but others help fine tune the skills (using other PMP's experience in certain subjects). Expert Judgment.
