PMP Certification Memorize or Understand - The best way to pass the certification exam

I have attended the PMI Local Chapter training program, The question remains is do we need to memorize the ITTO, Formulas, Processes or Understand the Concepts.

Except for some formulas (EVM, ROI, for example) all the questions are situation questions so to memorize has no sence (because you are talking about PMP exam). As Debapriya said above the key is to make tons of exam questions and when you systematically take the 85%-95% of right answers then you are ready for the exam. And no matter you will make the same questions more than one time because you will surprise about the different results you will take.
