I am working on a MA dissertation on Continuous Professional Development.
The CPD model has been adopted by various professional bodies as a means of introducing or enhancing knowledge, skills and attitudes, it cannot be assumed that this is uncontested. (Kennedy 2005)
I hope to gather views from different contexts; countries, industries/professions, seniority in the profession ETC, with respect to the perception of the members about CPD.
Does the CPD provides individual with the opportunity to update their skills?
Does the CPD promotes individual endeavour related to accountability?
Hope to hear your views... many thanks in advanced Saving Changes...

CPD is a part of life not just to survive in profession rater to deliver best within you. Whatever tools, techniques, method of working being used today will no longer be valid forever, example today we cant think of working without computer and software's like words and excel etc. People who could not adapt to computer were outdated and could not survived who used to be most efficient professional and were replaced by youngsters who produced more because they knew how to use computer. On a given day people who develop them on day by day basis definitely take lead compare to their coworkers and reach high in life. Individuals having attitude towards CPD have sense of accountability within them and CPD enhance this. Saving Changes...
