The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) is an ambitious and high-standard trade and investment agreement being negotiated between the United States and the European Union (EU).
The EU soon intends to sign two far-reaching trade agreements: One with Canada (CETA = Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) and one with the USA (TTIP = Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership). The official line is that these will create jobs and increase economic growth.
While in US or CA I haven't seen a lot of news or movements about this topic, in Europe, people are defending that only big corporations will benefit from them with demonstrations and campaigns to stop these agreement.
Are you aware of T-TIP and CETA? Do you think that those agreements will bring some benefits to our profession or from you point of view only will benefit the big corporations.

Not aware of them either but also would love to hear others opinion. I would however agree that mainly big corporations will benefit as I am a bit familiar with the concept. Saving Changes...
Unsure about impact on project management.
I think it will change a few business rules. Benefit the big corporation maybe, they don't really need that. I think that some medium corp would mainly benefit. For the small business I don't know, could simplify some trading rules.
Many, Most trade agreement change both local rules and force some group to organize in removing some barrier.
I know here the cheese industry is worry.
Opening market has it good side. We often forget those and focus on the negative parts! Saving Changes...
From my point of view, when business rules will change all us will be affected, I don't have in this case a clear position.
European people isn't happy, but in USA in CA, it seems that people aren't aware about it, and oficial information is very positive.
I hope someone will share their thoughts. Saving Changes...

Where it might help our profession is in your ability to move between the countries. Trade agreements usually delineate how professionals can work amongst the trading partners. For example, NAFTA includes clauses and paragraphs that help with work visas and travels. Saving Changes...
