I would add another tab at the end for Final Conclusion after assessing all alternatives.
though there would be a lot of overlap with the risk management, maybe make it a SWOT analysis for each alternative rather than just pros&cons?

hmmm, from my understanding the SWOT analsysis (or whatever analysis technnique would have been used to conduct the business case) should have been done already and we just document the results here as an input to the project charter.
My general understanding is, that the business analysis and the business case/documents where already done from the organizations business analyst for instance.
I know that in reality often the project managers have to perform this role in addition, but i would like to concentrate here on the project management role and the PMBoK Guide processes.
If we are done with that, we could extend "MP4PM" to the business analysis part too (may be i have my PBA til then what would makes a lot of sense, i guess ...;) ).
Does this makes sense to you?

sorry, it was my fault because of the bad structuring within the original posting.
I will bring the map online tomorrow for reviewing directly within the map structure, then it should become much more transparent.
Next time i will bring up the map online before posting the discussion threads.
