Will DevOps bring in change in the project management knowledge areas and process groups?

Everyone these days is talking about DevOPs. I would like to understand the role of Project Manager or his fitment in this new methodology.
Further, will there be new section added in PMBOK to deal with DevOps

I have the opportunity to participate in the creation and revision of the last PMI's standards regarding to business analysis and project management. I knwow that there is a group that is working on creaing a practical guide about Agile that will be an extension of the PMBOK. I am not part of that group but I understood that the guide will be available on september.
