That is certainly a harsh perspective, but depending on the culture of the organization, this might be reality. If no one can be trusted, then a cultural transformation might be necessary for the organization to move further. What future value is there for an organizational which cannot openly discuss decision alternatives? Interesting to ponder.

The big problem is AI is a new buzzword. I have a degree on AI and I am working with AI from 1988 up to date. We are surrounded by AI devices (software and hardware) into our daily life from refrigerators to lot of other things (traffic lites for example). Then I encourage people to research about AI. For example, when you use an AI device (software or hardware) the AI device never take decisions. AI device helps human being to work on lot of data then create options and the human being take the last decision. Saving Changes...
AI could be more helpful in more known scenarios, challenges. If the scenario is occurred earlier then the decision would be more accurate but not always.
What do morals and the right choices mean to AI? Only what we tell it, until it starts to develop its own morals and choices, which may or may not include the human race. Saving Changes...

It could be that AI could be more trusted. They are more shielded from emotion (well, completely) and influence (psychological or external) - hmm, for now at least.... Saving Changes...

In my opinion moral choices are based upon humanly feelings which i think AI man made machines cannot replicate, so there is a gap here, However i agree with Vincent whom do you trust to make moral choices?? Saving Changes...
Depends on what we trust AI to do. In a supervised mode, the operator will still have decision making authority whereas in unsupervised mode the AI will make the decision based on the heuristics it has developed based on its training data and on any constraints explicitly programmed into it. The latter will still serve as a safety net in case a machine generated decision is immoral.
I'm more concerned about hacking of properly trained AI.
Of course, once AI achieves sentience, we should all be ready to welcome our new machine overlords! :-)
