Project management is a universally relevant skill set, and one that potentially has a role beyond the boundaries of the organization. There are any number of activities that live under what one might call a banner of 'social change' that still look like projects: examples include community building, social welfare, education, humanitarian relief and poverty reduction initiatives. Their resemblance to projects is based upon the fact that they involve co-ordinating a complex series of activities within a period of time to achieve an important objective. And yet many times project management as an approach is not recognized, applied or valued in accomplishing what are admittedly significant and valuable outcomes. 

This webinar explores what it means to think about social change efforts as projects, and how to think about applying the tools of project management in a way that can provide value. Join Mark Mullaly as he explores the factors that make social change projects unique, the challenges in directly translating project management techniques, and strategies to be able to do so effectively. Managing social change is about delivering results; appropriate strategies need to be relevant, appropriate, responsive and scalable.
