PMXPO 2014: Planning IT: Scenarios, Strategies and Second-guessing
This presentation is supporting material for this video.
The world of IT evolves quickly, and it evolves on a number of fronts. The technology environment is subject to frequent earthquakes, customer expectations are rapidly evolving in ways unanticipated even a few years ago, and expectations of responsive, effective delivery are ramping up almost uncontrollably. Developing an effective IT strategy, then, could be considered more than a bit challenging. In this presentation, Mark explores avenues for effective strategy development in a highly uncertain world. While we might not be able to predict the future, there are still strategies that allow us to define it in broad but meaningful enough terms to make sense of it. Mark takes the time to explore just how that might be possible.
