Project HEADWAY: Supporting the Next Generation of PMs

All of us have an opportunity—and an obligation—to give back. And one of the most significant ways that we can help to do that is to help develop the next generation of project managers. The challenge is that they are a very different generation. They have different values and different priorities. They also face a very different environment organizational and work environment.

While there are differences, of course, there are also similarities. All of us, at some point, wrestled with this project management ‘thing.’ We figured out what it was, what it meant to us, how it applied to our work and our organizations and how to be able to utilize it successfully. These challenges are no different from what the next generation will face, generally. 

But how, specifically, to does the next generation develop skills, understanding and abilities? How do they gain experience and opportunities? What does the next generation need to know about project management? How will they use it? How will they best develop it? And how can we support them on this journey?

This webinar explore how to make a difference in developing the next generation of project managers. It’s for all of us who seek to pass on our skills and understanding in a way that is valued.
