Project HEADWAY: A Wish For the Future of Project Management
This presentation is supporting material for this video.
At the start of the year, we often look ahead to the future. We consider what we would like for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities.
Project management is a large and growing community. In a few short decades, the discipline of project management has been embraced by a wide variety of industries in a vast number of organizations, in every corner of the world. Project management is an essential means by which products are created, services evolve and change is implemented. Large or small, projects most often represent what makes a difference.
For all that project management has evolved, it is still arguably early in its development. There is a great deal that has been done to refine and improve how we think about and approach projects. There is also very arguably a great deal more still to be done, and to be hoped for.
In this webinar, we look to the future of the project management community. In particular, Mark Mullaly explores his wishes for the future of project management. He looks at where project management has come from and where it is, and expresses his aspirations for what it might still become. For anyone that is an enthusiastic practitioner of project management, this is a webinar you won't want to miss.
