Product Management, The Fourth P of Project Management
Overview
Traditional project management was built on three pillars or three P’s: project, program, and portfolio. Organizations are starting to recognize the importance of products and services, in the delivery of value to customers, and implementing strategy in organizations. Project managers not only need to understand the role of their project to support the strategy of organizations but how the product they are building will support that strategy and realize the value to customers.
This webinar will look at the inter-dependency between products and product portfolios with projects, programs, and project portfolios. The webinar will highlight the need for project managers to understand the relationship between portfolios, programs, projects, and products to support organizations in implementing strategy. It is time for products to become the fourth P of project management.
