The presentation is based on the research and experience of the presenter, Jon Weinstein, and is capture in two books he co-authored on the subject. The session will provide attendees with practical lessons from real success stories across all levels of government, different organization types, and across the spectrum of project management processes and practices.

About the presenter

Jon Weinstein, PMP, is President of Line of Sight (www.line-of-sight.com), a consulting firm delivering project management, organizational change, business process improvement, and strategic planning services. He has 20+ years of experience in these areas, working with clients of varying sizes – from start-ups to Fortune 500 firms - and in a wide variety of sectors – including government, IT, insurance, healthcare, and transportation. Jon has authored articles and two books: “Achieving Project Management Success in the Federal Government” (Management Concepts: 2010) and the forthcoming “The Government Manager’s Guide to Project Management” (Management Concepts: 2013 expected). Jon has spoken on management and leadership topics across the US and Europe, including several PMI speaking engagements in Baltimore, Washington, and at the Global Congress. In November 2014, Jon successfully concluded one his most significant personal projects, running for and being elected to the Howard County Council
