Presenter: Frank P. Saladis, PMP, is a consultant and instructor/facilitator within the project management profession and a senior consultant and trainer for the International Institute for Learning. He is a Project Management Professional and has been a featured presenter at the Project Management Institute Annual Symposia and World Congresses and many other project management events. Mr. Saladis is a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class and has held several positions within The Project Management Institute including president of the NYC Chapter, president of the Assembly of Chapter Presidents and chair of the Education and Training Specific Interest Group. Mr. Saladis held the position of editor of the internationally distributed newsletter for allPM.com from 2004 to 2011 and is the author of several project management books and numerous articles about project leadership. The most recent published book, Positive Leadership in Project Management, was released in March 2013.  Mr. Saladis is the originator of International Project Management Day and was recognised as PMI® Person of the Year for 2006. Mr. Saladis  received the distinguished award of PMI Fellow in October 2013.

The Ethics Member Advisory Group is a global team of experienced volunteers who are committed to facilitate learning and discussion about Ethics and Professional Conduct in Project Management among members, credential holder and practitioners. The Ethics MAG continues the work of the previous committees and teams which developed the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct; and it developed the Ethical Decision-Making Framework. The Ethics MAG members are well known international speakers on ethics, leadership, and project management.

Presenter: J. LeRoy Ward, CSM, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, has more than 39 years’ experience in project, programme and portfolio management in both government and industry. An acclaimed international speaker he is frequently quoted in major news outlets such as the Financial Times and NBC, and has authored nine books and 40 articles in project, programme and portfolio management. LeRoy holds three university degrees and is the 2013 Recipient of PMI’s Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award.

 

Session Code and Title: EM15LDR05: The Resonant Project Manager

Presenter: Carla Fair-Wright is an experienced project manager and a regular lecturer on project management. A senior project manager in the information technology department at Chevron, she has an extensive background in software development, project management, training, and consulting. Carla is the chapter author of two books, Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering and Technology and Case Studies and Applications of Web Based Energy Information and Control Systems. She has appeared on FOX News, PMI Podcast, Terri Craig Radio Show, Business Makers Small Business Network Show and has been featured in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) magazine, Maintenance Technology, STEMINST, and CODE Magazine.  Carla is the past president of Society of Woman Engineers (Houston) and a recent recipient of the 2014 Regional Emerging Leader award.
